On the driver-side valve cover, the casting was chipped / broken off around one of the holes that the valve cover bolt & grommet go through. Because of that there is a void of material surrounding the sealing grommet. Not only does that not look good, there is high potential for a leak at that bolt/grommet. I had no choice but to install that cover as it is as the car is obviously not functional without it. I just performed the install this past weekend. In addition, that cover included no bolts for the sensors & pcv valve. The passenger side cover did include those bolts. Overall, not a very impressive showing. I paid a lot of money for those covers and I might end up with a leaky cover due to the defect I described.
Grant, thank you for your review. After receiving your review I personally reached out to you to discuss your concerns. After you sent me pictures of your discription, the valve cover in question posed ZERO threat of a leak. The outer edge of the grommet basket was somehow damaged and did not pose a threat of backing out or having any contact with an area that would cause a leak. As we state, our products are warrantied for life. With in 4 hours of your review, a new valve cover was sent out at no charge to you and we even included a new valve cover gasket. I sent you a video of the valve cover completed and a picture of the tracking number. UPS picked it up today and its on its way. No where in our discription of our covers does it say it comes with bolts or hardware. We started to use bolts as validation of the holes. When you opened up your box you noticed this right away, yet you never reached out to us 1 time. A simple email would have gotten us to send you out a set free of charge. The only way we found out about this is through your reivew. Like I told you via text message, no company bats 1000. Its the way the company handles the issue is how you value its worth. I think we steppted up and provided you amazing customer service handling your issue. If you have further questions we are always here for you and back our products every single time.
